Spikelet hoops! Shiny and pointy, and up for a good time.
These earrings are a veritable case study in juxtaposition - the pleasing roundness of the hoop is perfectly contrasted and complemented by the sharpness of the spikes, pretty much proving that opposites attract (and look great together too).
The spikelets are made in solid, recycled sterling silver, and while they won't weigh you down, these hoops are definitely substantial. They are pretty 3-dimensional as well, though slightly hollowed out in the centre, which is visible in a few of the photos.
As always, these beauties were hand-carved and cast by hand in a charming west-end Toronto studio.
